Velocyclist.com was started because we wanted a classifieds only web site to buy and sell bikes and parts locally every day as well as a place to see the latest deals from our local bike shops.

In the past when we would look for a deal to buy new and used parts, or for bikes, we were limited to a handful of outlets. One portal may be good for one thing or one swap may also be great but only last for a day or we had to drive around to all our local shops, and so on and so on. We were also looking for a great listing of cycling items that did not return searches that included non-cycling related items. While there are other outlets to buy and sell, and maybe post a video, no place offered what we wanted…easy and free to post, concise search results, with deals from your local bicycle retailers as well as neighbors.

Since we could not find anything that satisfied this wish list, we thought, hey why not give it a try, so we established Velocyclist so that you and your friends have one place to call home for all of your cycling deals. Velocyclist.com is the place to peddle.

We hope you enjoy Velocyclist because this site is here for you. Spread the word and help us grow.
